Tickles.TV is a multimedia, production and creative agency driven by an Emmy nominated and Award-Winning team with 20 plus years of experience working in film, television, digital media, interactive storytelling and marketing.

We're an incredibly passionate, smart, hardworking, fun, dynamic team of Urban Chameleons who flip between listening to Blake Shelton to Robert Glasper to Cardi B, eating curry chicken (tofu) or sushi, and shopping at the Dollar Store and Gucci.

We pride ourselves with infusing our unique multifaceted perspective to create "tickling" content to leverage social impact, brand engagement, and ROI for our clients and partners.

Dahéli Hall [da.hay.lee] is a Los Angeles based actor, writer, and director. She is best known as a MAD TV cast member and writer; and can currently be seen on Netflix's Dear White People and Grace & Frankie. Her films, The Memo and Mandingo In A Box, both won HBO Short Film awards and were licensed to air on the network. Dahéli most recently wrote and directed Disney Channel's hit digital movie Exchange, the second fastest growing show on the platform. Her writing can also be seen on Funny or Die, VH1, CBS, and FOX. Dahéli Hall is also the co-creator of satirical comedy, Angry Black Women featured in Variety Magazine which most recently won the Just For Laugh comedy pitch program. Dahéli has a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and an MFA from USC's Peter Stark Producing Program. She has studied with The Upright Citizens Brigade and The Groundlings.

HaJ [the "h" is silent] is an Emmy nominated writer, performer, producer who has written and produced several television projects including for Centric/ BET, VH1, Disney, ABC and CBS. HaJ is the creator of the award-winning multimedia and interactive stage-show, Funnel Cake Flowers & The Urban Chameleons, which debuted Off-Broadway in 2015. The show was featured in The New York Times, Essence Magazine, Rolling Out, NPR and lauded as "George C. Wolfe's Colored Museum for Millennials". HaJ won Best Writer for her sold out Off Broadway show. HaJ is also the co-creator of satirical comedy, Angry Black Women featured in Variety Magazine which most recently won the Just For Laugh comedy pitch program. HaJ's ground groundbreaking interactive film, HERadventure, help to name HaJ one of the Top Tech and Branding Gurus by Madame Noir. HaJ holds a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University.

Sabrina Harvey Rose Merritt has served as social media manager at International NGO, CARE and Fortune 500 Real Estate Organization, The PulteGroup. Her social media strategy has help to increase brand awareness and engagement with numerous organizations including Emory University, CSE, BreenSmith advertising, The Wilbert Group, The Maynard Jackson Youth Foundation, The Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta, Cool Girls, Girls Scouts of Greater Atlanta and City of Atlanta as a creator of social media curriculum and workshop facilitation. Sabrina's work has also helped her client to win the Webby Awards for Best Social Media and be recognized as industry leaders. Sabrina is also the former member of the award-winning R&B duo Slick & Rose which opened for artists including Common, John Legend, Janelle Monae, and Kanye West. Slick & Rose received Billboard Magazine's Breakout Act and Black Girls Rock award. Sabrina's ability to understand social media content strategy from a multifaceted perspective landed Sabrina a feature in Black Enterprise magazine and as a featured speaker at SXSW.

    ANGRY BLACK WOMEN

    Angry Black Women, is an original satirical, comedy short being developed as a half hour television series that spoofs and dissects the derogatory term to provoke conversations about how Black women are portrayed in mainstream media. Angry Black Women premiered at the 2016 New York Television festival and made the HBO Top 10 short film list. Most recently, Angry Black Women won the half hour television pitch competition at the world’s largest comedy festival Just For Laughs in Montreal.

    SAVE MY EDGES

    Save My Edges is a satirical, comedic video created for BET with a focus on creating brand engagement targeting Black women. Save My Edges pokes fun at the sacredness of Black women keeping our “edges” intact, also known as the hairline. The video features celebrity talent including Jordan Sparks, Tatyana Ali, Eva Marcille and Andra Day tickling viewers with a spoof pledge campaign to save our edges. The digital video went viral with its release.

    When a group of high school student’s study abroad program in Paris is canceled, Bridgette, a first-generation Haitian/ American suggests her classmates spend a week at each other’s house instead. All of the students learn something new and even surprising, including Jeremy, Bridgette’s nemesis who ends up at her house learning about Haiti, the languages, the food, the culture and even some riddles. Exchange is an original half hour show created for the Disney channel that uniquely highlights multi-culturalism from a teen perspective. Exchange was featured in Variety Magazine and considered the fastest growing program on the Disney digital channel.

    THE URBAN CHAMELEONS WITH FUNNEL CAKE FLOWERS

    The Urban Chameleons with Funnel Cake Flowers is an interactive live stage show in the vein of the Real Time with Bill Maher meets SNL. It features a series of satirical interviews, sketches, video and audience participation through twitter around the notion of being an Urban Chameleon; a person of color who code switches and “chameleon” between corporate America and their kinky hair handling, curry spice eating, hip gyrating, I-N-G droppin’ America because it’s complicated out here in these streets. Funnel Cake Flowers & The Urban Chameleons has been performed as part of the Atlanta and New York Fringe Festival, United Solo Theatre Festival and featured in the New York Times, Essence and on NPR. HaJ, the creator of the show, won “Best Writer” for the Off-Broadway show.

    EMORY REMIX CHALLENGE

    Emory Remix Challenge video was created in conjunction with our social media strategy designed to help Emory develop an online community with Students, Alumni and Faculty in ways that foster a Strong Connection with Campus Life. Diverse students were empowered through a series of social media campaigns around key campus moments including putting their unique spin on the Emory alma mater song for a chance to win free Jay Z tickets. The success of this campaign garnered 140k impressions, increased engagement by over 10% and social media followers by 24% within 14 days.

    HERadventure is an interactive-movie that combines live action and game play. This coming of age story features a reluctant alien female named HER, who accidentally falls to earth, having to defeat a dark force and ends up becoming a superhero. HERadventure premiered at South by South West. Madame Noir named the creators HaJ and Ayoka Chenzira Top Tech and Branding Gurus.
